Steigenberger Hotel De Saxe description
The Steigenberger Hotel de Saxe is being erected on the former site of the Hôtel de Saxe, built in 1786 and later converted to a Baroque post office in 1888. Since 1945, the site has been used as a storage area for the stones from the Frauenkirche. Following the reconstruction of the church and redevelopment of the Neumarkt site, a five-storey hotel complex and luxury shopping mall is currently under construction. All of the hotel’s 185 comfortably furnished, single, double rooms and suites have a private bath, bathtub, shower & WC, air-conditioning, hairdryer, safe, minibar, telephone, pay-TV, desk, radio, alarm clock, W-LAN, high speed internet access and ISDN- and fax connection.
